The district office will utilize the prototype layout from District 1. The training building area will be incorporated into a single facility. The facility will be constructed at the Airport Road Annex site, replacing the existing Sheriff's Training, Supervisor of Election and old Transit Facility .

The scale house at the Zemel Road Landfill is currently a trailer nearing end of expected usable lifecycle. Additionally, not compliant with the County's Ordinance of not utilizing trailers as permanent operations. The project would move the physical location of the scale house and its ancillary functions of a convenience center and household hazardous waste. The project will also streamline the flow and control of traffic in and out of the landfill.

As part of the CMP, Community Services is conducting structural assessments on all piers, boardwalks, seawalls and boat ramps; through this assessment process it was bought to CS attention that Riverside Boat Ramp provides immediate safety concerns. During the site analysis the engineer determined the ramp could not be repaired in place; this project will be to design a replacement ramp that alleviates the safety issues.
