CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (July 8, 2025) – Burlington Avenue between Beardsley Street and Strawberry Street will have intermittent lane closures 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 8 through Friday, Aug. 1 for Accurate Drilling Systems to install a new water main.
Travelers are directed to lane changes with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
