CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (May 8, 2025) — The Charlotte County-Punta Gorda Metropolitan Planning Organization has scheduled a series of public workshops to assist the MPO in identifying the cost feasible projects that align with projected funding sources and transportation needs over the next 25 years. These projects are prioritized based on factors like community input, safety, mobility, and economic impact. Public input is a critical component of identifying the most important multimodal transportation needs by the year 2050. Everyone is invited to attend, and your participation will have an impact on transportation planning throughout Charlotte County.
