Project Description
South Gulf Cove has four (4) bridges needing design and construction services to implement the FDOT maintenance and repair items for each of the respective bridges. The design services shall also include designing ADA-compliant sidewalks across each of the bridges. The sidewalk design shall include transitions from the bridges to the existing sidewalks including the traverse of intersecting roadways.

Construction has started on the next bridge Keystone Boulevard over the President's Waterway and is closed to all traffic from December 3, 2024, through March 3, 2025.
You might have noticed at each of the bridges, the County has hired a consultant to exclude bats from under the bridges. The consultant has recently installed bat houses at each bridge so the bats being excluded can go to the bat houses. The consultant should be done by March 15, 2024.
