Creation of a master plan through the park design process and phase 1 development. The project tasks consist of the following:

  • ADA Compliance review and recommendations
  • Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) recommendations
  • Conceptual Master Planning Alternatives
  • Preliminary Master Plan

Latest Updates

Multiple public meetings have been held and a final design concept has been approved. Contract revisions are in process with the design team in moving the project forward with the Phase 1 design development and construction administration services.

Phase 1 design development and construction administration services are underway.

30% design plans have been completed and commented on. Approval to begin the tree survey and wetland flagging has been authorized.

60% design plans have been provided for review, tree survey and wetland flagging are complete and pre-DRC is set up for end of April.

Pre-DRC approved end of April

Project is in permitting with state regulatory agencies. 

Permitting has been handed over to the Army Core of Engineers (ACOE).

A reviewer for ACOE has been assigned to the project. ACOE approval can take up to 18 months.
