Disaster Recovery Site - Tom Adams Bridge

This page is a Disaster Recovery Site of multiple projects related to Storm Damages.

Project Description

Hurricane Ian caused extensive damage throughout the site. Roof and exterior areas were affected, including minor roof leaks, soffit damage, and electrical issues at the Tenderhouse. Mechanical and electrical systems sustained impacts, with one machine damaged, electrical panel issues reported, and a traffic light requiring full replacement.

Site conditions were heavily affected—sidewalks were completely undermined and left unsafe, and all four quadrants experienced severe erosion and slope wall failures. In addition, the waterfront fender structure was missing several planks.
