Project Description
Water intrusion from the roof affected the south, east, and west sections of the library, resulting in severe interior damage. Immediate pack-out of contents is required to ensure safety and recovery. Mitigation efforts completed include water extraction, drying, temporary roofing, climate control, pack-out of books, and selective demolition of damaged building materials. Additional site damages include 37 damaged or missing 3 ft. concrete landscape lights and sections of 4 ft. aluminum/steel fencing that are damaged or missing. Stabilization, debris cleanup, and water extraction remain necessary to protect the structure and contents.
