Disaster Recovery Site - Ainger Creek Park

Project Description

The site experienced substantial waterfront and structural damage, including erosion at the boat ramp and stormwater areas, seawall displacement and subsidence. Multiple piers, including four finger piers, a boarding pier, and an observation platform sustained damage to decking, support poles and safety rails. The boat ramp requires rip rap replacement, and storm drain debris protection was damaged. Storm surges washed fill into the waterway, necessitating dredging and shoreline reinforcement. Additional impacts include damaged parking bumpers, trash/recycling containers, and signage.
