Project Description
Due to substantial damage from previous hurricanes, the sustainability of the parking area has been compromised. This project will replace the deteriorating grass area with pavers, creating a firmer surface and reducing overall maintenance requirements.
Project Location
23157 Bayshore Road, Port Charlotte, FloridaLatest Updates
Bayshore Grass Parking was severely damaged due to Hurricane Milton. A new assessment of the area is needed to confirm that the previous design will meet the current project needs. Submittals have been received and we are in the process of ranking engineering firms for the project. Once an engineer of record has confirmed the design, the county will advertise the project for a construction contractor to begin the process of reestablishing and hardening the parking area.
