CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Jan. 23, 2026) – Atwater Street between Vanguard Terrace and Peachland Boulevard will have intermittent lane closures 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 27 through Wednesday, Jan. 28 for Irby Construction to complete sod restoration.
Travelers are directed to lane changes with signage and should allow extra time when planning to travel through this area.
The Public Works Department reminds motorists to remain alert at all times and to exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of construction zones.
