Project Description
Hurricane Ian caused extensive damage to the wastewater treatment plant, including to the roof, fascia, soffit and mechanical equipment.
Process structures such as the chlorine contact tanks, clarifiers, digesters and filters had roof and awning damage, bent guardrails and broken lights. Electrical systems, conduits and samplers failed, and site lighting, fencing and gates were destroyed or inoperable. Erosion and debris affected multiple areas.
Carports, sheds and auxiliary structures sustained roof, wall and truss damage.
