CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. (Sept. 8, 2026) — The Charlotte County Commission has scheduled a budget public hearing at 5:01 p.m., or as soon thereafter as it may be heard, on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026 at Charlotte Harbor Event & Conference Center, 75 Taylor St., Punta Gorda. Topics include review of FY2026/2027 budget process, millage rates, presentation of budget, tentative countywide millage rate and proposed budget, environmentally sensitive lands millage rate and proposed budget, MSTU millage rates and proposed budgets, and final MSBU rates and proposed budgets.
The meeting is open to the public for public input.
