Subject: Englewood Area Fire Control District Impact Fees
In a mutual effort to streamline the permitting process, the Board of County Commissioners signed an interlocal agreement with the Englewood Area Fire Control District that allows the Community Development Department to collect the Englewood Fire Impact fees and disburse them to the Fire Control District. The effective date of this change will be January 1, 2024.
The impact fees will be collected through the normal building permit process at the building department along with the other associated impact fees.
Until such time, payments should continue to be made at the Englewood Fire Department. After December 31, 2023, the Englewood Fire Department will no longer accept payments in person or by mail.
